High-tech innovation meets Italian style with Riva 76′ Bahamas Super
A stunning fusion of high-tech innovation with sleek Italian styling and a contemporary twist, the freshly debuted Riva 76′ Bahamas Super from the iconic yacht builder may just be the answer to your yachting needs. Officially debuted during the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this month by Riva, alongside the Riva 102′ Corsaro Super and the limited-edition Riva Anniversario, the Riva 76′ Bahamas offers new, redesigned spaces in a new iconic form. The name Bahamas is said to have long been a part of Riva’s history, as the tropical destination brings to mind the exotic beauty of far-flung paradise islands waiting to be explored by superyachts.
The inspiration of the original yacht designed by Mauro Micheli in the 1990s, the Riva 76′ Bahamas is the industry’s second-ever convertible yacht. An exceptional yacht, combining the allure of timeless style with technological advancements, the new Riva 76′ Bahamas Super takes things one step further. Created to deliver owners ‘ high-impact design’, her hull is based on the Perseo 76, which gives her a classic retro appeal with cutting-edge comforts. Her reimagined sleek, striking, and sporting lines perfectly capture the rich Riva heritage. The hull color, a glossy shark gray with black accent,s together with the updated hull glazing and windows, give this new model a striking, distinctive look that is sure to catch the eye wherever she cruises. At the same time, her redesign ensures that the lower deck accommodation is flooded with as much natural light as possible.
However characteristic her aerodynamic exterior styling may be, it is her convertible c-top that has garnered her much warranted attention. The carbon hardtop, first seen on the Riva 88 Florida that shelters the helm station, can also cover the foredeck seating and be retracted entirely in one single, fluid movement. Transforming the Riva 76′ Bahamas Super from an open sport flybridge into a coupe at the touch of a switch is nothing short but genius. Her main deck features plenty of seating options in a sociable arrangement, with alfresco dining and sunpads located forward and aft for sunbathing. The high sides and wraparound windscreen offer guests a solid sense of security while moving around the deck during cruising. Aft, two staircases lead down to the transom swim platform, providing direct access to the water. The lower deck features a three-cabin layout, with the owner’s suite located amidships and a double VIP suite forward. The twin cabin is located starboard, with all cabins featuring ensuite bathrooms. A spacious galley with plush indoor seating is located in the center of the lower deck accommodation, with a sliding glass door separating the two areas. A crew cabin with two bunk beds and a bathroom is situated by the engine room.
Available in two engine options, from twin MAN V12 1,550s up to twin MAN V12 1,800s, the latter gives her a thrilling maximum speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots. Measuring 23.32 meters in length with a maximum beam of 5.68 meters and a draft of 1.95 meters, she is ideal for island hopping across the Bahamas in comfort, style, and speed.
